AREA and land capacity

– The Saint-Julien estate, on the southern edge of the Cevennes, extends over 20 hectares. It borders the small river Hérault for around 2km
The property, mostly on the plain, has been farmed since ancient times for its abundance of excellent quality spring water, its rich and generous soil, and its location on the southern edge of the Massif Central, very close to the Mediterranean Sea as the crow flies. It enjoys a mild climate that is ideal for growing crops: orchards, meadows and woods add to its beauty

– The Isis campsite occupies 10 hectares and offers:
* 53 accommodation units for 2 to 6 people, ranging in size from 15 to 38m2 (mobile homes, wooden bungalows and unusual rentals)
* 135 pitches spacious, shaded camping/caravanning
* 10 pitches special “Tribues” family and friends

CLASSIFICATION

Classified by Atout France as a 3-star campsite (latest prefectoral decree: July 2022)
It should be noted that in terms of the number of services, the campsite easily achieves the level of a 4-star campsite. However, in view of our environmental commitments
* few electrical appliances in our accommodation
* no TV in either the bar or the accommodation
* no wifi outside the central building and reception (but… 4/5G)
* no air conditioning (not essential in summer, even when it’s very hot: during the day, there’s the river and a siesta in the shade and at night, it’s cool)
* little permanent lighting
* no untimely pruning of our trees and shrubs
* no regular cutting of the grass or removal of autumn leaves
* …

All of these elements could give an impression of discomfort and a certain ‘laissez-faire’ attitude that is incompatible with a higher ranking, even though we are campaigning for a less energy-intensive and more humane way of life that, we hope, will bring people closer to each other and to nature by limiting our environmental impact as much as possible
