On 5 August 2024, the Isis campsite in the Cevennes had the immense joy of hosting an exceptional event organised by the Cevennes National Park: open-air cinema and pedalling 😀

“Cinécyclo is a unique and innovative concept combining cycle touring, cultural action and environmental awareness. These are open-air cinema screenings, powered entirely by the energy of a cyclist. Each spectator is invited to pedal during the screening to produce the energy needed for the projection.
This evening is dedicated to all audiences, young and old, and offers you the chance to take a sensitive look at nature and listen to the words of those who are passionate about it.

The first part of the evening will feature silent or subtitled films (in English or broadcast in English with French subtitles), enabling foreign audiences to enjoy the screenings.

The last part will take us up into the stars.”
