SPRING

Hiking Festival in the Cevennes with Fira

  • By sampling local produce: meal breaks are an opportunity to sample local produce and traditional cuisine, whether in farm inns, small restaurants or even in the great outdoors

Shiatsu weekend

Shiatsu weekend

For Mother’s Day and Father’s Day: treat them to a relaxing wellness break at camping Isis in the Cevennes
What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu is a well-being technique that originated in Japan. A stress reducer and source of well-being, it is an excellent response to the imbalances of everyday life
Work is carried out either lying down on a tatami mat or massage table, or seated. The atmosphere in which the session takes place is healthy and pleasant. The basis of shiatsu is acupressure, i.e. pressure applied to specific points on the body. It is a deep, revitalising massage that provides relaxation

Shiatsu is for anyone in good health, young or old, man or woman. It is a non-therapeutic treatment that aims to:
– help relieve tension, particularly in the back and neck area
– reduce stress and boost morale during periods of ‘the blues
– improve sleep
– improve digestion
– breathe easier

On site, you can also take advantage of the swimming pool, go for walks, hikes and discover or rediscover the region 🙂

“In the heart of the Cevennes, the Vigan Festival has been shining a spotlight for over 30 years on a region that has managed to retain all its beauty and preserve the authenticity of its culture

Spread out over the summer, the concerts take place in the sub-prefecture of the Gard department, as well as in small temples and churches clinging to the slopes of Mount Aigoual
With no specialisation or particular theme, the Festival du Vigan has always sought to offer a wide range of programming, from recitals to major symphonic concerts, and from baroque music to contemporary creations.”

“The Transes Cevenoles festival brings together street artists and musicians in the village of Sumène, in the Gard departement. The free festivities take place throughout the village over two days. The event runs from Friday lunchtime to Saturday evening and takes place on the last weekend in July. It consists of free street performances in the afternoon, followed by a ticketed concert in a square in the evening. The festival was founded in 1998 by a group of young people from the village of Sumène who wanted to get involved in the cultural life of their area on a voluntary basis. Initially focused on contemporary music, its activities have expanded to include street and circus arts since 1999.” (Wikipedia &C°)
